OUR HISTORY:Our Beach House was built for the late Colin & Joyce Toft in 1970 as a weekender and a place to relax!Colin Toft was a co-founder of Toft Brothers, who were responsible for building the world’s most successful sugarcane harvester that changed the way Sugar Cane harvesting was done in the world, taking the industry from Manual labour to Mechanical back in the 1940’s onwards. More detailed history can be found at Fairymead House Museum, North Bundaberg. Unit 3 has a painting of one of his three Sugar Cane farms in the Childers Area. He built this Holiday Home for his family to enjoy and relax every weekend. Our family welcomes you and your family to unwind and relax. Whilst the holiday house is still held within the family, extensive renovations have been completed over the past 10 years and are still ongoing. Those who have enjoyed this holiday destination have enjoyed the relaxing space that can be achieved in a small complex. Sometimes we just need to give the busyness of life a break! We encourage you to open the doors & windows and enjoy the clean fresh sea breeze and ocean front sunshine! Just like the old days.

What guests say about us
- This accommodation is a large house that has been divided into 4 units. Choice of 3, 2 or 1 bedroom. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit upstairs. There is covered car parking down the back. You checkin at a nearby unit complex. Location of the units is amazing, gorgeous sea views and walking distance to the shops. Our unit was very large in size. Full kitchen, lounge had 2 couches, bathroom was huge and had a washer and dryer in there as well. There is also a separate toilet. Twin beds in one bedroom and queen bed in the other. There is a table and 3 chairs on the balcony. Loved our relaxing stay at Bargara and can’t wait to return.709TAM, Jul 09, 2022 Beautiful apartment by the ocean.★★★★★
